Many sites are 'under construction' for a year. How long does it take to get 'out of construction', are they building a house, for God's sake??!! Many designers sites are full of flash programs, are so not user friendly. It takes half and hour to download, and the content is not made easily accessable with excessive layouts.
Many designer sites are left un-updated for a year and a half. They should act proffessionally and upload their sessional collections. While on the other hand, India keeps dominating our truf, it's not only much advanced on the internet, it's designers keep defining our culture to us and the rest of the world. We need to meet competetion. We should not only add quality to our content but quantity as well.

i can understand the designers problems with getting their websites done. its not as easy as it sounds. i've been trying to get a website done for about a year and a half. since i don't know how to do it myself i have to rely on someone else. the person building the website doesn't really care when it should be done so its been a year and a half and my website is still not done. if it were upto me and i'm sure most of the pakistani designers as well the websites would be finished in a day and update all the time.

^ Aren't there some courses you can take, or books you can read on setting up a website? I've been wanting to learn it myself actually.

i think there are books but if you don't have a background in computers its hard to figure out. i've bought books but they didn't seem to help.

i took a 6 hour class on dreamweaver and used it. you can get a good guide to dreamweaverand do a simple website EASILY…

its under construction but this magazine (Brides & You) sells alot of copies in Pak, India and Gulf. Probably more than any other fashion publication.
