Try Garnier Caffeine Anti-dark Circles 2-in-1 Roll-on: Garnier Caffeine Anti-dark Circles 2-in-1 Roll-on - Medium - Boots
it’s more of an eye cream with colour. Comes in 2 shades: fair and medium/dark. I like using this daily (when bothered) as oppossed to heavy concealers and it provides okay/sufficient coverage for daily wear.
Otherwise for heavier coverage and more formal occasions, bobbi brown concealers are excellent, in particular their correctors which is to be used under concealer. I’ve used a lot of expensive makeup and the only item (so far) worth raving about: Bobbi Brown correctors!
I love mac select cover up. It's light so your under eye areas won't appear cakey, but it also does the job.I top it off with YSL's Touche Eclat and it helps brighten up the aream. Whatever concealer works for you DON'T forget to set it with powder. I use MAC's prep and prime transparent finishing powder
thank u for the advice ladies.. I dont wear foundation expect at events so im just looking for a eye concealer to hide the horrid dark circles on a day to day basis..
I have tried benefits, smashbox, bobbi brown, ysl, and stila. Stila illumiating concealer has been the best one for me so far. Sephora doesn't carry that one, you may have to find a store that carries the whole stila line. Wasey my foundation is pretty good I have lots of spots on my face and it does and good job, but when I need better coverage specially under my eyes I use stila.
my experience is that you have to try a few before you find one that suites u the most.
Wat foundation do you use?
also has anyone used the Laura Mercier Secret Camfoulage concealer if so how does it work for them.
i am looking for a concealer that will cover up blemishes left from spots.
The Ben Nye Concealer Palette is by far the best concealer I have come across. Also, Derma Blend comes very close. The reason Ben Nye coverage is so good (you can literally cover ANYTHING) is because it's theatrical makeup. You won't be dissapointed, I can guarantee you that. If your skin is sensitive, you are better off using Dermablend, which is not cakey, which Ben Nye can be if used too much.
It depends on your skin tone. I have very fair skin so I use Maybelline Mineral Makeup (foundation, powder etc) in the 'light' shade but they do come on 'medium' and 'dark' as well. You can even blend more than one shade if you have trouble matching your skin tone.
I finally got myself down to the Bobbi Brown counter, asked about their concealers and the one I found worked best on me was their correctors the lady suggested that I just need that for my under eye and it works perfectly excellent colour matches so well. Need to keep away from these make up counters end up spending far to much money left with a tinted moisturiser, face powder lip gloss & shimmer brick uff! Thank you girlies for all your recommendations x
