Lol so the only thing I literally have is besan because we just moved and everything is packed. I tried it in a small dish and I didn’t like it very much so I guess I will have to bare the freezing cold to get some darn flour.

You really dont have to use Ataa if you dont have it. Only thing is that your saalan will be too patlaa for Nihaari. It will be more like Paaya curry. Besan is going to spoil it.
