Re: Benefits of Marrying a Career Woman

Valuation is an art, not an exact science.

Re: Benefits of Marrying a Career Woman

No that's not what I said! The thread is about benefits of marrying a career woman and one of the mentioned benefits was earnings are split. I just pointed out a fact that even if the wife is earning she has no obligation or social pressure to contribute towards the household expenses. So no one should marry a career woman expecting that she will be contributing her share, that's a wrong expectation to have.

Re: Benefits of Marrying a Career Woman

^ Earnings. Split. Which forum is this?

Re: Benefits of Marrying a Career Woman

Benefits of marrying a career woman are " paisa, paisa and more paisa" bus khatum !!!!

Re: Benefits of Marrying a Career Woman

In all the couples I know, where the wife works too (which is most of them), the wife also pays for household expenses). And is she does not pay for routine expenses, she takes care of everything travel related for the family, puts money aside for the kids future schooling, family vacations, birthday presents, savings...

Re: Benefits of Marrying a Career Woman

If you are one family why bother with my money ur money. Is this a new trend

Re: Benefits of Marrying a Career Woman

Because some posters here seem to think it's an unnecessary burden on women to expect them to work even though they have gotten their education from top-notch schools and have a better earning potential than their partner. I don't get this attitude. If you have gone to school for a certain profession/field of work, why waste it? It seems like such a waste of money and time to get training for a certain field and then not work because well mujhe to parhne ka shauk tha, career ka thori. Yeah well princess, I don't think that is what the wise people meant when they said, Ilm haasil Karo Chahey is k liye cheen hi kyon na Jana paray"

I don't get this.

Re: Benefits of Marrying a Career Woman

I don't get the not working after an education part either. But the my money ur money is a different issue. Separate topic. And I don't like folks goin off topic please.

Re: Benefits of Marrying a Career Woman

Look who is talking! :sadaf:

The issue is related because when men don’t expect women to work and women too believe that it is their right to “choose” to work then she can also choose to not share her income.

Re: Benefits of Marrying a Career Woman

Oho. Very complimacated.

Re: Benefits of Marrying a Career Woman

If the husband and wife have no problem with the wife not working or the wife keeping her money separate, and its working fine for them; then it’s nobody’s business.
