in a friendship, maturity runs (and should run) both ways. It has nothing to do with being easily influenced, its the temptation that could run over you. People dont get tempted by the positive traits, its the negative elements of society that attract them.

TLK, it does run both ways, but its important to know if it can get influenced or no. For example, you may not want your 14 years old kid to be a friend with a hooker but if your 30 years old brother is a friend of hooker, (and by friend i really mean friend, nothing more than that), you'll think that he is elder enuff to take care of himself.
I think it makes a huge difference.
