Or when they’re angry too. Although in a state of being angry and being drunk…you don’t have much control over your emotions…so the “truth” will fly out.
But when you’re calm…in your complete khaush o hawas…and joking…you ARE in greater control of your emotions.
I wonder if this idea of “truth behind every joke” is a possible reason why joking is not too very encouraged in Islam (I think I read that once…but not sure). Someone correct me if I’ve got it wrong.
