Kabul, December 24: Two Indian workers kidnapped by remnants of the former Taliban regime have been freed, an Afghan Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Wednesday.
We have had good news from our security people. The two Indians are safe and sound and have been released," Ministry spokesman Omar Samad said to Reuters. “I believe they were released on Tuesday.”
The two Indians were kidnapped earlier this month in the volatile southern Zabul province while working on a major highway reconstruction project.
There are sane people among the Taliban ranks? That's a surprise gesture, given that earlier news reports claim that they were picked up on the basis of their religion (not being muslims) and not because they were Indians (or any other nationality).
^^ Yeah...Well guess how we Muslims feel about 660 detainees held hostage by the American government without a crime done by them...Or how many were executed under the beneficient eye of the American army in containers for want of air and water...
You want brutality and barbarism? Just check out the results of 12 years of sanctions and Uranuim depleted ammo on the hapless population of Iraq...This kind of inhumanity has never been witnessed since the Nazis and Mongols...Except the Nazis and Mongols had the guts to not cover it up with flowery lies...
Those detainees at guantanamo Bay are there because of help and all out assistance extended by fellow Islamic regimes, esp. Pakistan. So don't blame others for your follies.
American troops can come in and grab our beloved 'Muslim' leaders in a gutter anytime they want alongwith the Arab monarchy, ...You Indians want them? You can have them....
