Re: Beauty of nature behind hijaab.....interesting
I am sorry if you felt this way, but I said black because black color will not let any light pass thru it and most of the time when people refer to Burqa, its black.
The main comment in my comment was - what would happen to the plant if its covered with a cloth.
brother, you surely know what would happen but why are you putting cloth on a plant? Are you playing with the words?
Plant doesn't need a cloth bcoz it has its own protecting layers, but human body does need clothes to avoid warmth and cold and also to look beautiful.
Naked humans look animalistic, oh but in Hinduism animals are better than humans so its ok for them to walk around without clothes. please take no offense.
Black Burqa is a cultural dress, in Islam you can wear any modest clothing of any colour.
Re: Beauty of nature behind hijaab.....interesting
should guys wear hijab too then?
dem touareg brothas knew somfin ya know..
There is also a criteria of clothing for men in Islam, hijab is a criteria in dressing and attitude and not a piece of cloth. People call khimar or scarf a hijab now a days which is wrong.
A touareg's dress is part of his culture, like shalwar kameez in Pakistan.
Re: Beauty of nature behind hijaab.....interesting
right the hijab, whr do i begin i have so many mixed emotions about this, basically i few years ago i really wanted to wear it to my dads dismay, but anyway looking back im glad i didnt mayb its not an excuse but i live in the uk, and it was mentioned how a fruit is covered by its skin to protect and thats hw a hijab is, but sadly if u wear a hijab or even more if u wear a burqa u r a target in the west, most ppl wont hurt u 4 wearing it but u get awful stares which i can deal with but u all of a sudden sterotyped by non-muslims and muslims alike. i see so many ppl who wear hijab doing stupid and besharam things which of course has nuthin 2 do with the hijab however becos they r wearing a hijab non muslims knw that they r muslims and it leaves such a bad impression whn they see these muslims doing this stuff , whether its acting disrespectful, being roudy or whtever, i dont realy knw whr im going with all of this i guess ill always look 4 a reason not 2 wear it wheras i shud b looking at reasons why i shud wear it , but then its easier teaching non muslims abt islam and having converstaion with non muslim if u dont wear a hijab, it sounds silly but its true.
In my year at uni we have 10 muslim girls of which 2 of us dnt wear hijab, 2 of us get on more with the white ppl and they feel more comfortable with us than with the girls who wear hijab. These girls r all lovely i have no complaints abt them, but do u c wht i mean
I feel that nowadays so much importance is placed on how we look, i dont knw abt pakistan but here in the uk if u go and start talkin 2 a group of girls wearing hijab, im not generalizing but more often than not if u arent wearing one u r met with *****y looks and looks of disgust and they talk 2 u like u r sum sluttu girl whose been out with every guy thr is which i find very frustrating again im not blaming the hijab and im not sayin evry1 is like that but it seems like it is being used to show other ppl rather thn wht its actual purpose is
I dont knw how many verses in the quran r dedicated to the hijab , but i do knw that thr r loads more dedicated to how u shud b as a person, im not sayin 4get abt wht u look like or walk abt naked, im jus sayin is not ok to walk about decently dressed and too b a gud person 2 every1????? is the hijab really that important????
tweety_pie: read the first 13 years of Prophet:saw:'s life in Makkah after declaring prophethood and along with him who became muslims and draw a parallel between what you are facing/thinking and what they faced… I am sure you will come to a different conclusion :insha:
Re: Beauty of nature behind hijaab.....interesting
yes i agree wht i face is nuthing in comparison to wht they faced at that time, but my question is, is the hijab fundametal in me being a gud muslim girl, i dress appropriately i always try to b a gud person, show islam in a gud light to non-muslim set a gud example, but if i dont wear a hijab will any of that count will i b counted as a bad person if i dont wear it regardless of my character and deeds????

Salam,
So if there is one verse, then is not enough? Its word of Allah, either 1 ayat or 100.
Hijab is an order of Allah, then it must be important (unless Allah ordered the women to do something un-important)

Though ur comment can be answered but only if u can answer this -
What would happen to Orange if it is covered with Banana-COVER and what would happen to Banana if we cover it with ORANGE-COVER,
my friend, cloth is cover for human body ! hope u got the point
Re: Beauty of nature behind hijaab.....interesting
^^ I was being sarcastic lol..
The Hijab was just a symbol of Modesty 1500 years ago.. today in very few cases its actual modesty .. mostly its a forced practice.. suppression.. tonnes of hijabans ruin the very idea of the hijab when they wear lipsticks or tight fit jeans.. they just do it bcuz they're brought up to believe its the right thing to do.. or they're forced to do it by their parents..

What people forget is that the initial Makkan stages of the Islamic movement was a group of people fighting injustices going on in the society. The struggle was definitely not about wearing a piece of cloth on your head. At that time, the "hijab" or "khimar" or whatever you wish to call the dresses they were wearing at the time, were not a major point of contention, as it is today. At that time, Prophet Muhammed's followers were hell bent on giving the common man an opportunity to live life as an equal to a person "of prestige" from a tribe like the Quraish.
These days, you go to to an Islamic instititution preaching Islam, and you hear SO MUCH about how important it is to wear the hijab, but these same institituions are doing jack to help the common man of today life a life as an equal to a person "of prestige", like one of today's Army or government families of Pakistan.
Do you see how muslims have deviated so much from the original point of Islam? Its all become a fight over a friggin' head dress. Meanwhile, people are starving of hunger, and these same religious people telling you to remember the hijab are doing nothing to help these people even survive.
Its not about the hijab anymore. It never really was.
well i say it dependz on galz/female/women intentions.
-some r wearing it as a peice of cloth. i mostly see arabics this way
-some have no idea y they r wearing but they look kool. (cuz either their parent made them to wear, or their fiancée’s/bf/hubbiez ask them to do)
-n some r just wearing it. (these kinda users look either normal or massi’s )
i strongly believe u shouldnt be looking massi while wearing scarf/hijaab. (iff u r out of muslim country.) in muslim state its better to be massi-looking dosheza
ELSE KEEP UR INTENTIONS CLEAN N CLEAR, WITH A STONG BELIEVE ON ALLAH SWT.
(kharabi hijaab ya burqa may nahi, aurat ke harqat-o-saknat or mard ke nazroon may hai)…V

Wow...This kind of defeats the whole purpose and concept behind the hijaab. ie you are not meant to be noticable ... but guess what some people are not only noticing them, but getting attracted to them. What an irony!
OK anyway so in this case who is going to Hell..the person person wearing hijaab for (unintentionally?) attracting you or you for being attracted to her?
