Whoa talk about jumping to conclusions. :halo: I’ve just noticed that girls in Arts tend to be prettier and i know that arts is easier to get into compared to Commerce and Science so it made me think that since Arts is easier than girls in there have more time to take care of their appearance because i refuse to believe that they are naturally prettier.

Could you please tell me the requirement for Mcgill Arts.
i know the requirements to get into UBC arts and I know that getting into postsecondary in Canada is pretty tough in general . However some programs are tougher than others and Arts is one of the easiest ones. For example, i have friends from highschool who werent very smart and they’re studying arts in the same university as me. Also its easier to stay in Arts at least in my university. My friend has a 45% average and she was put on academic probation for a while to raise her marks. In Commerce if your grades are below 65% then ur out and the courses for Commerce are also much harder. Also, university isnt the only place to judge smartness. Many people are very smart but they dont go to post secondary or take that guy who made google for example who has a Bachelor in Arts but is probably way more successful than people who studied science or finance.

i on the other hand, have seen soooo many gorgeous girls…who are in the sciences.

**Good for you. I haven’t though which is why i made the observations… There are exceptions though like this girl from my university who studied science. She got her Bachelor of Science a couple of years ago and was last year’s miss canada world. Also my taste in beauty might differ from yours so you might find the girls from science in my university gorgeous while i don;t. **

Re: beauty and brains.

What if ur not smart or beautiful? :bummer:

Re: beauty and brains.

^lol beauty's in the eye of the beholder.

Re: beauty and brains.

september 2005 it was around 80% ..i dunt no what the cutoff was this semester, but i pulled a 86% avg throughout college.

lemme say this much. while science students are crunching numbers we art students are reading and writing papers. all program require the same amount of work from their students. i no that my freinds who are in science don;t understand how i manage all my readings and papers, and i on the other hand dont understand what their textbooks are abt :S ...i guess at the end, its even.
