Agreed. My kids are not equal to pets even when my kids will grownup and as people says , "here after 18 they will left you alone" InshaAllah I will never ever say that pets are better than my children.
Because what have I done for them or doing that is my duty. After God we (parents) brought them to existence so taking care of them is another thing and expecting they have to care us is different and even they left us alone ashrafulmakhloqat per janwar ko tarjeeh nahi di ja sakti:D

Dogs give birth to puppies/puppy, not babies.

There is a fundamental difference here, ask the thread starter:

CE, does your definition of “babies” equal to and include kittens and puppies as well? Or just human kids?
