Sportsmanship is something it seems many of them are unaware of. I mean this is meant to be some newspaper/billboard not an online forum.
At least they should learn from Amir and Kohli appreciating each other. At least learn some humility and not be arrogant before they actually win the tournament. i know many Indian fans can be arrogant but this is taking it a step too far. Pakistani fans are way better. I don't know about the story about Pakistani chacha in Bangladesh. Pakistani chacha is always respected with Indian crowds.
I went to watch the India vs Australia semi final in Sydney last year. Like usual India lost but the toxic atmosphere afterwards made it worse. Lot of Bangladeshi supporters were there cheering for Australia and when we left the ground after the massive defeat they were there to insult and carry on. I think it was because of the quarter final and they were whinging about it still.
A random Indian 24 hour online channel interviewed us because me and my brother were the only Indian friends around and in the background some of these Bangladeshi fans were waving posters which had "India go back" and "Indians go back."They had this interview for 24 hrs before it got deleted. Then they were making some monkey sounds while we were being interviewed. Its the first time ive been to a high stake cricket game and didn't realise the extent some cricket fans go to. Pakistan had some decisions go against them in the Bangladesh game and the Indian game but you never see Pakistani fans react in this way.
Anyways I always support Pakistan over Bangladesh and after India I support Pakistan and Australia.
god post.....pakistani fans are usually harsh on their own teams after the defeat...they hardly care about their opponents after a massive defeat. their whole anger is focused solely on Pakistani players.
anyway, we are all human beings and tend to react in our own way. BD fans have seen so many defeats in last 20 years that they have gone bitter i guess. They will get better as their team have now started to win.
ok thx. it was reported all over the media with pictures and a detailed account of the incidence .
anyway, it is clear that the incidence did happen and he did wear BD flag after pakistan got defeated but he apparently did it in love for BD. it may be a bit weird but it is possible. I guess it is similar to exchanging jerseys by opponent teams after the game. Glad to know that BD fans are not doing such mean things.

I know I shouldn't be too bitter after that game. It was the first world cup game I attended and did not expect to come across such a reaction at least in Australia. I thought that such reactions are limited to online behaviour but then Indian crowds in India get emotional. I don't recall anything like that with Indian crowds in Australia. It felt like an excuse to use Australian victory to be racist/taunt others. I am sure they will be better this year. It would be nice if they appreciated performance of other teams against them whether Pakistan or India. The 2014 final was quite close but at the end of the day the Pakistani team won and they should appreciate their performance as well.
hehe 2014 win..i remember that. They are doing better each time. I really shouldn’t say much because after the India vs Australia semifinal being in the stadium mujhe bhi rona aaya tha. I was thinking again they lost when i watched them live. i bunked my class and travelled 3 hours at last minute to watch this game. Should have trusted my instincts and stayed at home lol. Ghar pe dekhti kuch rona nahi aata. Indian fans bhi rote hain lekin Bangladeshi fans se kam.
Whenever i watch India in Australia they always lose. All 3 games ive watched they’ve lost and then when I don’t watch they actually win a game.
Remember this classical match from 2014. What awesome batting by Afridi, Alam and Fawad. Just like in the game against India.
Check out the dramatic girls in the crowd at 34.08. Itna to main bhi nahi royi pichle saal semifinal mein.
lol have we forgotten the dumbass indian and pakistani fans of the 80s and 90s? give the poor bangladeshis a break. pakistani and indian commentators who are ex-cricketers and their superiority complex when talking about bangladesh is pretty annoying.
also why is umar daraz still in jail? release the poor guy already. its a bigger shame than any of these photoshops by some kids.
I am so disgusted to read this news. I know this guy personally, very nice and humble and a good sports fan who loves Dhoni. He runs/ran a restaurant business in Chicago. Events like these force me to think whatever happened in 1971 was right. Sorry for saying that but this news just pissed me off.
