u look at the back of the shirt ifu can find any knots or twists or loose threads then its hand where as machine embroidery doesnt have any knots and its the same design at the back but lighter hand embroidery is cheape ri have dresses both in hand n machine ill post some pics for u if i can find my camera charger :)
as far as i know hand embroidery is much more costly than machine
