I dont get this. A tradition is dying and we are letting it happen.
A simple tradition has gone overboard. It used to be flying kite competition and people are using dangerous material in the competition. Material is dangerous not for the kite-flier but for the one who gets injured with it. If I remember correctly there was one incident where an infant's neck was cut by the string from kite and he died and the family wasn't even participating (probably passer-by).
