i was completely hooked to the this drama. good story and good direction. Thank god it did not drag and just ended in 22 episodes. The end was good too however they should have shown the relationship climax between sharmeen and her mom since sharmeen loved her mom so much.
sawera nadeem gave a stellar performance...i have never seen her in negative roles before...she was outstanding...from her voice to her personality she suited this role thoroughly.
newcomers who played the role of sharmeen and eessa were very good too. natural acting.
arjumand raheem was good too however at point there was a bit of over acting...nevertheless good.
and every time adeel spoke i used to think 'oh he will cry any second now' lol
everyone else were good in their roles too.
ayesha khan was good acting wise but she really really needs a make-under and needs to do completely different roles. not mazloom type ones.
a surely worth watching drama. 10/10

just re - watched this drama with my mum. WOW !!! loved it. I would rate it 5 stars. :k:
For me Sawera nadeem truly owns the show and makes this drama a hit. She really puts life into Zubaida. Everything is spot on - the dialogue / expressions …
Noman Ijaz is also brilliant in his get -up and appears so natural.
Anjumand Raheem plays her part really well.
The children were good too . Their acting improved as the drama progressed. My mum was like sharmeen ki shakal thori apni ami se milti hai lol.
