Re: Bareeze
I love their suits, have them in so many colours.
Re: Bareeze
Another fan reporting....been wearing it for aaages. My mum only ever shops from there so prolly have every single design.I can't bear to get rid of them either...their cotton prints are sooo pretty, and my darzi has done such intricate designs too.I bought my first one from Lahore...when that was the only place to buy it.
I told my mum I was a bit fed up,so she stopped buying it for me....then I had to tell her 'please, buy it again' :)
Love their home things too,but they are pricey...oh,I want to go and have a look right now...
SaadiaB, this summer thou shall buy not one but TWO suits from Bareeze. Somehow in Dubai they have better stuff than in Lahore/Karachi. I always thought they'd have better colors/new collections in Pakistan and send the 'kachra' to us in the ME.
Re: Bareeze
I really like Bareeze too but don't buy from it very often as it is a bit heavy on my pocket but sometimes you can get good deals in sale.
They have really nice home accessories too and very pretty photo albums, with jamawar kind of coverings.
Re: Bareeze
love their chiffon stuff much better than the cotton ones, lovely colours schemes. they started the whole cotton 'chicken' fabric craze but now that the chicken fabric is so redundant locally, it doesn't seem worth it to spend Rs. 4000-6000 on a cotton suit, woh bhi just the material. last time I was there I was told (by family) not to bother with it since its considered an 'aunty look' to wear bareeze now, that was news to me!

me me me… another fan reporting ![]()
Re: Bareeze
Does anyone know how much a Bareeze shirt piece in organza or chiffon would cost?
Re: Bareeze
I prefer their ready-made outfits
Re: Bareeze
Sajal, I got a chiffon shirt piece for PKR 2500, nice intricate work on it (full price) and another chiffon shirt piece for Rs 1800(on sale) ..these are last year's prices.
Are they all happy and willing to sell shirt pieces only or do you really have to eat their head up to have them do it for you?
Re: Bareeze
In sale it’s not a problem, in fact mostly there are just shirt pieces. On full price, I don’t really know..this was the only shirt piece I bought on full price, there was no argument but I do remember it was the last piece left, so maybe that’s why ![]()
Re: Bareeze
No problem buying shirt piece only. In fact you can buy 1 yard, 1.5 yard, whatever.
That's why they have a lot of random pieces for the sale; they are the end of the roll.
Re: Bareeze
Well they do have a section of sale items, that are only shirt pieces. I got a few pieces from the sale in the range of about 2,000-3,000 RS each. There was another suit from their new line I got from them that they were selling just the shirt, I had to buy the material for the dupatta, lining and pants separately from them. Which ended up costing so much, came to about 10-11,000 RS for the material alone and then the tailor charged 1,250 for the stitching. Its a beautiful suit but I dont think its worth that much!! When the man quoted me the price I thought it was everything included, only after he cut it did I realize it was just the shirt and felt totally ripped off ![]()
I got a suit from Islamabad and the darzi somehow burnt a hole in the pants when he was stitching it, which we only realized later. So went to their store in Karachi and asked them for another pants piece and they were acting like its the end of the world, because they didnt want to break up the suit. They had to call around first and only then gave it to me. I was like you’ve got to be kidding me, as if its really such a big deal ![]()
What is Bareeze? is it a brand name or type of fabric? (sorry for my ignorance:( )
Its a brand, its the name of the boutique. They sell different types of fabric, and are well known especially for the chiffon and cotton suits...as well as other things for the home, like decorations, bed sheets etc
I bought this shirt piece only; I think 1.5yards. I used the rest for the ends of the duputta.
I can’t remember where we bought the chiffon for the duputta and the silk for the shalwar (it’s a little more expensive to buy plain undyed kapra from them but convenient if you’re in a rush); it was then dyed and stitched.
Sajal, I got a chiffon shirt piece for PKR 2500, nice intricate work on it (full price) and another chiffon shirt piece for Rs 1800(on sale) ..these are last year's prices.
That's not bad... for some reason I thought they would be a lot more expensive than that.
Re: Bareeze
bareeze - what is nice UPDATED look to get stiched with a plain bareeze suit
Re: Bareeze
Another thing I wanted to ask .... do they have sales on those shirt pieces throughout the year or at a specific time?
Re: Bareeze
Bareeze silk/chiffon suits are lovely.
Will try to post some pics of the ones i have.
Also - stores like Rehman Jee - are they imitations of Bareeze or are they "in their own right" so to speak?
