Re: Bangladesh vs. Australia at Fatullah, Apr 9-13, 2006 First Test

It looks like Australians came for a picnic and Bangladesh is forcing them to play cricket........ :-)

Re: Bangladesh vs. Australia at Fatullah, Apr 9-13, 2006 First Test

AUS 93/6
:WTF:

Re: Bangladesh vs. Australia at Fatullah, Apr 9-13, 2006 First Test

Aus 145/6 at stumps.

It would be great if BD can get Aus to follow on.

Re: Bangladesh vs. Australia at Fatullah, Apr 9-13, 2006 First Test

BD

Re: Bangladesh vs. Australia at Fatullah, Apr 9-13, 2006 First Test

if they can get Gilchrist early tomorrow morning than the chances of follow on are very bright. Go BD.

Re: Bangladesh vs. Australia at Fatullah, Apr 9-13, 2006 First Test

Simply amazing stuff by BD. However, it would be interesting to see aussies’ reaction in the remaining test match. As far as I remember, aussies have always managed to come out of the mess once they were cornered in the first innings with very few exceptions. Whereas, BD players have always let the advantage slip away in the second innings. If I have to put my money on this test match, I would put it on Australia, though my heart wants BD to win and beat aussies. Let’s see.

Once again McGill outshined warnie when played in the same test match. McGill has far more variety than warne but somehow warne was always the first choice and probably rightly so. After all 674 test wickets are not a joke.

A good lesson for Mr. Ponting though credit goes to him for apologizing about his remarks against BD team.

Re: Bangladesh vs. Australia at Fatullah, Apr 9-13, 2006 First Test

Am I reading the scores correctly?

BD 427
Auss 145/6? or is it Aus 427 and BD 145/6.... this made much more sense

Do I need coffee, or is it that the world is rotating faster?

Re: Bangladesh vs. Australia at Fatullah, Apr 9-13, 2006 First Test

Wow...I wish too...it should happen... :)

Re: Bangladesh vs. Australia at Fatullah, Apr 9-13, 2006 First Test

Wonderful show by BD. I just hope they can continue this for the next 2-3 days.

Re: Bangladesh vs. Australia at Fatullah, Apr 9-13, 2006 First Test

My money is on Bret lee, that guy seems to be in amazing batting form, and have seen him making runs for Australia mostly in crisis....

Re: Bangladesh vs. Australia at Fatullah, Apr 9-13, 2006 First Test

I can't believe that. It feels like Arun Lal praising Inzimam for his captaincy.

Re: Bangladesh vs. Australia at Fatullah, Apr 9-13, 2006 First Test

*"Bangladesh have been stuck in the shadows of their neighbouring giants - India and Pakistan - but in the first two days they have done, at home, what neither country has pulled off against Australia for a while now. A popular Pakistani pop song that gained immense popularity when it became part of an Indian movie’s soundtrack, was blaring to out to Bangladeshi fans as play resumed after lunch. The main line goes something like this: *“Ab toh aadat si hai aise jeene mein” (“Now its become a habit to live this way”). If Bangladesh can make it a habit to play their cricket this way, they’ll soon be a force to be reckoned with."

very well said :k:

Re: Bangladesh vs. Australia at Fatullah, Apr 9-13, 2006 First Test

I will wait for aussie worshippers to come out again and say 'o, its just a blip and they will still win it'. They still might but they are usually in mess these days with very few comfortable rides as compared to past 5-6 years.

Re: Bangladesh vs. Australia at Fatullah, Apr 9-13, 2006 First Test

^^ Saby bhai I was going to say the same thing  kidhar hai Kangroo world champ-uooooooooo :hehe:

Re: Bangladesh vs. Australia at Fatullah, Apr 9-13, 2006 First Test

All credit to Bangladesh though. The intensity they showed was absolutely unbelievable. Did anyone else see the dismissal of micheal Clarke? Had it come out from the hands of warnes and kumbles, It would have been dubbed 'ball of century' by now. What a ripper by little known enamul haque!!!

Re: Bangladesh vs. Australia at Fatullah, Apr 9-13, 2006 First Test

What kind of performance would it take from BD to make this thread sticky ?
