Re: Bangladesh hangs Jamaat leader for war crimes
Unfortunately their courts were even worse than ours, which really is saying something, so the case was a sham.

See what the BanglaDeshi lawyer says about the case in the above video. The first 10 minutes.
He basically says that there is no precedence in the judicial history of the whole world, in the way they pulled off the execution sentence.

Re: Bangladesh hangs Jamaat leader for war crimes
Few observations from this video.
Liaqat baloch could not clearly answer the questions. Kept changing his position and negated himself a few times with contradictions.
When asked why JI even took arms when it was the role of Army? He said civilians have right to defend…
He could not answer or refute why Al-Shams and Al-Badr (or Razakar?) killed civilians.
When asked why not make a political group in Baluchistan also, he said Army is doing operation and we are against that…Something like that.
Both on Kashmir and Afghanistan issues he kept going away from the questions asked and could not commit.
Everyone knows they were in bed with Zia and US, on Afghanistan issue…and recruited people in the name of Islam. But their own people have killed other Muslims.
He deflected the question on Munawwar Hassan comments.
Regardless of what JI says, it has no real policy and no clear/clean history. They just create noise.
They always won elections based on Karachi, but never in federal cabinet supported Karachiites.

Bangladesh: Death Sentence Violates Fair Trial Standards | Human Rights Watch
…“Human Rights Watch has long called for justice for the 1971 atrocities, but justice requires fair trials and due process of law,” said Brad Adams, Asia Director. “Changing the law and applying it retroactively after a trial offends basic notions of a fair trial under international law.”…

understandably since they were once part of us.
Re: Bangladesh hangs Jamaat leader for war crimes
The guy who is hanged was of the view that both Pakistan and Bangladesh should live together, whereas others were in favour of independent Bangladesh. Baccha Khan was also against the creataion of Pakistan and he left no stone unturned to stop it. Does it mean we should hang him or his offspring?
Re: Bangladesh hangs Jamaat leader for war crimes
Mujhahideen that want Kashmir as part of Pakistan are heroes of Pakistan today.
One day when Kashmir will be liberated, they will be hanged to death, then for some hypocrites, these heroes will become criminals.
