Baluchistan always wanted to be a free country

Re: Baluchistan always wanted to be a free country

Let us look at the timeline of events.

Rape of a Sindhi lady doctor working in Sui to help the local people. Allegedly, rape was committed by members of the Pakistani army or paramilitary that are supposed to guard the Sui gas plant. Plant officials tried to cover up the incident and ship the lady doctor to Karachi. Local police were powerless against the powerful people of PPL.

When the local people of Sui found out that a doctor that was helping them was raped by some non Balochs and then sent away, they became angry and in Baloch tradition protested and attacked the plant for this injustice. Pakistani forces opened fire in response and the army spokesmen and Musharraf instead of trying to get to the bottom of the situation by listening to the people and punish those responsible, immediately blamed and threatened the Balochs as anti-national and traitors. Baloch living near Sui were forcibly evicted from their houses and the personal of the Pakistani military took over the land.

This is your freedom where Blaochs are the criminals always while your own are angels? What self respecting human wants this "freedom"? This is not about a few crimes but the legacy of crimes and coverups of the Pakistani state and army against Balochistan. Pakistan has to earn trust among Balochs, not the other way around.

Re: Baluchistan always wanted to be a free country

this is crime and whoever responsible should be punished, army is not holy cow. do you think any pakistani will support this henious crime? they dont. if there are cover ups which army normal practice in all civilian cases. ie, similar happened to a Punjabi policeman after stopping generals car. did punjab wanted independace for that?

my point if army or anyone else is responsible then they should be punished. and its not only balochistan , it happen everywhere. so this only reason cant be made reason to have separate country.

how many rapes, robberies, kidnapping happen in Pak? thats other issue
making army a holy cow is also another issue, not limited to balochistan. all pakistanis should challenge this.

all above are common problems for all pakistanis, not limited to balochis.

this incidence used by sardars as an oppertunity to exploit.

Re: Baluchistan always wanted to be a free country

Quite frankly the false quiet in Pakistan politics is uncharacteristic. The mullahs are waiting, the ISI are waiting and the army is waiting for the 1st sign of real weakness. Musharaf will do well to come up with something re Baluchistan. Uncle Sam is waiting too.

Re: Baluchistan always wanted to be a free country

Let us pray that the blood of Balochs was not shed unnecessarily and justice happens for all parties.
