the parallel I am pointing out is different. Pakistani ‘establishment’ not realizing the true issue. The Bengalis felt completed disenfranchised and the powers to be kept fooling themselves that they can trump that with military power. They lost.
Similarly in the Baloochistan issue, if only a military clamp down is tried without a much larger development & integration program, you cannot expect a different result. Unfortunately many in Pakistan seem to have started believing their own concoction about the Balooch liberation being a Indian machination and therefore are focusing solely o a military clamp down.
