It was a forced treaty on the Amir of Afghanistan and plus it was for 100 years, which expired in 1993.

The walls of Berlin can’t keep nations divided for long, let alone a 113 years old peice of paper or just the thorny dreams of Pervez Musharaf.

I’ll quote you one website’s version of the treaty that gives no mention of 100 years. Can you find, anywhere on the web, a copy of the treaty that explicitly states a 100 year limit?

Of course, if Afghanistan really wants to take the land it’s welcome to try. The British mandate was passed onto India and Pakistan. All treaties under the British can be honoured by India and Pak.

Show me where in the Durand Line agreement it says that the treaty will be void after 100 years. This is a popular myth.

And last I checked, it was Karzai & co. who are most against cross-border movement.

This matter can't be sovled with a dialogue. Punjabis don't understand dialogue. So proving it was singed for 100 years or 1000 years will make no difference. The three elected assemblies of Balochistan, Sindh and Pashtunkhwa have said NO to Kalabagh dam several times, but punjab is still adament on making one. The only thing that stops Punjabis from making the dam is Pashtun threats that it will be destoyed with bombs and Punjab will be drowned under its waters.
So, you think if one proves that the DL treaty was for 100 years, the Chodries of Punjab will respect the treaty. Its only the will of the people and a kick in Punjab's back that will force them admit that walls and barbed wires which divide people who speak the same language and divide viallages and towns can not be justified by international law, except ones own greed to control millions of people for political and ecomic gains.

Karzai opposed fencing of the Durand Line, he asked for an end to ISI backed terrorist corss border movements...

Its the will of the people and strength of masses which defeats colonial powers and invading armies. The tiny island of East Timor forced out the mighty army of Indonesia just few years ago. The 4 millions strong forces of USSR did not dare go against the tidal waves of 15 unarmed nations, and the superpower crumbled in a matter of days. The dictators of the unnatural state of Yugoslavia are still paying the price of making the mistake Russian leadership did not make.

The ‘short’ people of Bangladesh, deemed ‘unfit’ by Punjabis for Pakistani army shamed 90 thousand of Pakistani soldeirs and officers. Had you ever visited Indian and Bangladeshi army museums and seen the pants and underwears of your ‘strong’ army still hanging there, you would never have posted the statement above. But, you might have seen lots of Maolajat movies, who knows…

The thread is about balochistan and you have diverted it to afghanistan and bangladesh what is your point anyway.

I see many pashtun part of the establishment what do you say about them.Pakhtun also follow different ideologies.If you are trying to prove that pakhtuns want an independent pakhtunistan then why people like asfanyar wali and mehmood achakzai dont say that in public.One will find their interviews in the press that they think like this but if someone asks then on camera then they will deny that they have given any statement like this.

So the question arises how many pakhtuns want an independent pakhtunkhwa.who represents pakhtun ANP,PKMAP or some party from afghanistan.what about the ppp sherpao,mma and muslim league do they represent pakhtuns.

As far as balochisatn is concerned situation is tense in the dera bugti and kohlu area because bugti and marri are against the state and to maintain the writ of the government action is taken against the miscreants

so people of balochistan know that when bugti was governor there was an operation at that time too why was he part of government then and why did bugti tortured the messoris and the kalpars.Three four sardars cant decide about the whole province.
