The only one who knows what is in one’s heart (including intentions, level of iman, etc) is Allah. So, let’s leave it to Him to decide who is more or less of a Muslim because even the farishtay don’t have access to hearts. And there is a strong admonition to avoid calling others pretenders or hypocrites; it carries dire consequences for the one making such claims about another. We should be more careful.
..but what difference does it make? Jew ho ya Muslim. Weisay I highly doubt it. There aren’t even any synagogues in Pakistan. It’s like saying dragons exist. Jews are mythical creatures in Pakistan, often in the hiding, captured if spotted.
Regardless of who the comment was directed toward, it’s not for us to determine who on here is a pretender or a believer. I’ve even seen folks on here decide for themselves whose namaz/ibadat is sincere or otherwise; it’s disturbing and hurtful. It’s within human nature that all make contradictions from time to time. Judgment is such a complex thing and so many factors and aspects of a person’s life have to be taken into consideration that we don’t even have access to. Thankfully Allah is more merciful to us than we our with ourselves and with others. That said, let it go with who is pretending and who is a pakka mukhlis…we all should worry about our own inner state first. Ab let it go na.
