If Bahrain has a regime change it will become a lot poorer. It may no longer remain part of Gulf Council. Bahrain has no oil left and it hugely depends upon investment of neighbouring gulf countries. If they back off Bahrain may become poorer than Iran.

I understand this is one of the excuses used by the ruling family. Does not change the fact that Bahrainis have the right to choose their destiny.
