Few years back CNN did a report on poverty in Bahrain. A youngster spoke bravely to the CNN reporter at that time. The same youngster was martyred on the 15th March 2011.

If Bahrain has a regime change it will become a lot poorer. It may no longer remain part of Gulf Council. Bahrain has no oil left and it hugely depends upon investment of neighbouring gulf countries. If they back off Bahrain may become poorer than Iran.
