Excellent, simply excellent new. A Woman ambassador. Whatever her religon it would be a non issue in a common sense pluralistic democratic society. But a Jewish woman, great example of accepting equality and intelligence and ability of a person and not depriving them of their rightful amibtion just because they may be a woman, let alone a jew .
A great example from Bahrain. kudos, kudos and more kudos.
Just one edification to the above post; She was born in Bahrain, not an immigrant. therefore , the country is not hosting her she is the rightful citizen by birth.
There are not that many jewish people in Bahrain, but they have a synagogue . Unfortunately , the social advancement of pluralistic society is still not out in the open as the building is a small non descript building which has no official identification on the outside to signify it is a synagogue and i believe it not located in one of the better areas of Bahrain. however, kudos they do have a synagogue.
Sadly to note that Bahrain is the only country in the persian gulf with any kind of jewish community and synagogue. .
