Baby Wipes

Re: Baby Wipes

^ lol! theres a random fob who took this class with me. He used to go around carrying an empty pepsi can in his bag. We kinda figured out what he was using it for. This one day he came to class and hurriedly got his books out and accidently spilled remnants of remaining water on the gora infront of him! hahaha the gora had no idea where that water had been! LOL!

Re: Baby Wipes

soda can but how? you gotta have some skills to use that as an alternative (:D)

:hehe:

Re: Baby Wipes

u all are so funny :rotfl:

Both of my little kids 3 years old and 1 and half year old keep cleaning their little cars with wipes and I have to tell them off because they waste em. Now reading all this post wiping make up off and cleaning bathrooms and TVs how I can blame them afterall they are kids.

If adults using them for all the above reasons, wipes are so good..

Re: Baby Wipes

I used some to clean my wooden furniture and leather sofas yesterday. They leave a nice shine on the wood, and they condition the leather.

Hooray for wet wipes.

Lol! This is so true! I love gripe water! Lol!

here you go…

Re: Baby Wipes

btw desio- they have wipes already for cleaning glass and other material, just an FYI

Re: Baby Wipes

^ I know that! I used to keep a box of Clorox wipes in my desk all the time.

But baby wipes are like magic...I cleaned nail polish off the carpet with them once and now you can not even tell something spilled.

I wonder what the magic ingredient is?

Re: Baby Wipes

Thanks ladies. Although not yet a mother, I will go out and buy baby wipes now for my household cleaning. PSquared, here's a general idea of what is in baby wipes:

Cleansing ingredients

Water is the main ingredient and serves as a carrier and diluent for the other ingredients. Baby wipes also contain mild detergents mixed with moisturizing agents, fragrance, and preservatives. The detergents most commonly used are known as amphoteric surfactants, similar to those found in baby shampoos. Sodium diamphoacetate and coco phosphatidyl PG-dimonium chloride are primary surfactants used in wipes. These chemicals don't strip the skin of natural oils and also decrease skin irritation potential. Mildness is a prime consideration given that the wipe solution may be in contact with delicate skin around the anus and genitals.
Humectants such as propylene glycol and glycerine are added to prevent premature drying of the solution and contribute to skin moisturization. In addition, some formulas incorporate oils such as mineral oil, lanolin, or silicones that help to soften skin. Thickeners, such as cellulose derivatives like hydroxymethyl cellulose, control the viscosity of the finished product and keep it the right consistency.
Other ingredients include preservatives, such as methyl and propyl paraben, to ensure the solution does not support microbial growth. Fragrance is usually added to increase consumer appeal and to help over-come body odors, but fragrance-free products are also offered. Featured ingredients may also be added to increase consumer appeal. These include natural ingredients that are known to be kind to the skin such as aloe vera or oatmeal extract.

lol me tooo
i actaully buy them in bulk so i never run out !!

Re: Baby Wipes

it always leads to a lota does'nt it?

Re: Baby Wipes

Don't people use baby wipes instead of lota usage too? Some guy asked about that on sunnipath, I remember.

We went to someone's house last week and their idea of a lota was a 2 liter soda bottle cut open at the top. I tell ya, all the desi creativity comes pouring out as soon as lota matters come into play.

Re: Baby Wipes

^ Ohmigosh! Are you serious?!?!
