You can’t be afraid of what kids are going to do with the name. Don’t dismiss all the good ones. The teasing might occur for whatever reason. She might hate her name when she’s young, but she will grow to love it.

I really don’t think a bunch of moronic elementary school children should be the deciding factor regarding your name. Sure, avoid the obvious ones. But names like Soha aren’t going to be that problematic later in life.
Hopefully her daughter will grow up strong, and will be able to appreciate her name, despite the few stupid kids who mocked it.

LB, just wanted to keep it short.. the longer the name, the more distorted it gets... i do like diya very much though..
a pregnancy site gave good advice.. they said, if u like a name, try it out for a week.. like say it out loud and see whether u like the sound of it... its a good tactic me thinks...

I was thinking the same thing as LB about Hana but it can be pulled off in English because of Hannah.
