Re: Baby names, neep help please?

Hello all and thank you for all your replies..

Unfortunantely I miscarried a few weeks later..

However, I am now pregnant again, just reached 18 weeks and despite a few problems, all is well so far, alhamdullialh.. so am again on the hunt for names..

DH and I have decided on a name for a boy; its the name my Sis would have given her nephew if she were still alive today.

Of all the suggestions that were given for a girl; Inaya/Enaya, Ameerah, Annum, Mysha/Myiesha are the ones that stuck..

So. if you have any other sugestions for a girls name, I would love to hear them!!

Thank you...

Mr & Mrs Barfii.. and bump

Re: Baby names, neep help please?

Farishta (Angel) Not sure if that is how its correctly spelt.
And i really like the name Adeel i know its common.

Thanks Huni..

Mijjy, Ohhhh, I likes Minahil. Not seen or heard that before. Do you know what it means?...

LethalK.. Thanks Huni... <3

Congrats Jatti2Khan.. How are things progressing. Hope your symptoms aint too bad!!

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. Like I mentioned before, we are already decided on a boys name, just struggling on a girls name.

Of all the suggestions Inaya/Enaya keeps coming back. Is there a difference in the meaning between the two spellings? Also, how popular/unpopular is this in Pakistan? And how would they pronounce it? I always liked the name Leila, but the way they pronounce it, it sounds like lela (rhyming with mela (dirty)).. Don't want them pronouncing this name incorrectly..

Thanks

Re: Baby names, neep help please?

reemal means pearl
and areesha means bulandiyon ko chuny wali

Re: Baby names, neep help please?

Dua & Sannan

Re: Baby names, neep help please?

I heard that Dua and Farishta are amongs the names that are taboo.. Maybe someone could correct me?..

Also, thanks for yoyur suggestions, but I think, for now at least, I have decided on Enaya. Need to run that past Hubby first, but I'm sure he will like it too..

I'm more interested to know the popularity and pronounciation of said name in Pakistan..

Thanks
