Feyrouz:
The proper Arabic pronunciation is "Fay-rooz." One of the most famous Arabic singers of all time is named Feyrouz (not sure what spelling she uses in English); she's Lebanese and many of her songs are patriotic songs for Lebanon or Palestine. As noted above, the meaning is 'turquoise.' :)
