Okay here is an incident that took place while Roshi and Ahmed were visiting us in Oct/Nov 2005. I sometimes call my hubby "jaan" and this one day i called him that and Ahmed happened to be closeby and he picked up on that and since than he has been calling my hubby, "jaan". And, it is hilarious and embarrasing at the same time because he called hubby jaan in front of my parents:) and i had to make up this funny story of how he was calling him "John" instead.

Yes they do. And i love ur avatar too but sometimes it looks like it’s hurting it’s head.

I love babies when they wakeup from a good nap…and i love the way they look so amazed at every thing u do…at work i had this baby girl, and u know how most babies smile back when u smile at them or they just give u a blank stare? Well this baby girl always used to give me a frown back! It was so funny, u’d have to be there…as soon as i wud smile she wud frown…i stopped smiling and she just had a blank stare…sometimes they r so silly they r addictive to be around

Babies are amazing when they're learning new things. Maya learned to roll over. She surprised herself. Now she can sit all by herself. She discovered her hands and would stare at them and move her fingers around. A few days ago she learned to wave hello and to clap. She loves clapping. If I sing a song then she claps along.

She's almost 7 and a half months old. She's trying hard to crawl right now but can't quite control her legs. Last week I put her on the rug with some toys and had to go in the other room. When I came back she had pulled herself over to a toy that was out of reach. It's like everyday a baby struggles and tries so hard to get to the next stage. Each day they get that much closer. I wouldn't want to miss a single day.

Yep! It is absolutely fascinating to watch them grow up at such a young age! Every day they learn something new.
We have a baby that my mom babysits and he is around 8 months old. He is growing up right in front of us and every day my mom has a new story to tell - so sweet! He is wanting to learn how to walk these days. So we stand him up, hold his hands and have him walk with us and he tries to RUN! haha! It is the cutest thing ever! He moves those feet so fast like he is in a race lol! Mashallah - totally adorable! I would have uploaded a pic if the upload button was working

Babies grow up so fast dont they!? It seems like yesterday when my son was born. Now he’ll be 3 years this month, insha Allah.
When he was born, his voice was so sharp and loud, I was in the labor room, the moment he came out he started to cry on top of his lungs. I cant forget his voice was echoing the whole ward. lol.
Another thing which i will never forget, is at the same night when i was sleeping I had him with me by my side, at night i just woke up and looked at him. He was looking straight in my eyes. He kept looking for a long time. And so did I. He wasnt crying or anything, just looking.
And new born babies dont have a vision more than 6 inches. And he was pretty close to me at that time.
That was the turning point in my life… Before that I was confused about the whole thing, being a mom and all. But at that moment i realized that now i have this little angel to take care of. And he’s my responsiblity. Whatever he grows to be, he’ll always be my son and a part of me will always show in his personality. I just pray to ALlah that he grows to be a good Muslim and a good human being.

And now, he is such a devil
