There is this very popular terms in Sindhis 'Be-Peer' without Peer. It is used by mothers / elders for rebuking 'be-peer'.. jo kisi ke kahe main na ho... sarkash ho... same like Urdu speaking community sometimes use 'shaitaan' for referring to shararti bache.
Frankly, these all shrines (small or big) do invite mujra girls
I think... Mujra girls do believe on such baba ji and karamat... therefore they attend these annual Urs.... From their prespective... they can only present their dance in Aqeedat.... as Nazrana....
Even a Tawaif might have heard that Usman Marwandi (Shahbaz Qalandar) preached prostitutes and they abandon their profession.. but now on Urs of Qalandar, tawaifs from all over Pakistan visit in the name of Cultural delegation to perform samaa. Few years back, Sindhi newspapers were filled with pictures of tamash-beens who went to Qalandar’s urs for paying homage to mujra girls and someone played political stunt on their rivals in which gehon ke sath ghun bhi pis gaya. I remember, me and my room-mate used to catch newspaper early in morning and tell each other ‘I know this guy back home’
They think they are making those girls dance, actually these girls make them dance, when they are arrested. In that incidents, many university students and doctors were arrested. Munna badnaam huwa darling tere liye
