That’s the desi thing. Even if they are 25-26, they still call the other gal Baji. Or they call Uncle/aunti to every new person who they come across. I want to ask them sometimes, which uncle is eh to you, chacha, keh taya, keh phupha, keh chacha-mamoon keh taya-massar
