Lones are “sheikhs” (converted Pandits) and therefore not from among the historically more prestigious “khandaani” families (those whose ancestors migrated from Central Asia and Iran and formed the traditional nobility of Kashmiri society).

My paternal or father’s families are lones, and I don’t want to be a converted pandits.

My maternal or mothers family are all khawajas, I have heard they were the lower creed. Is it true?

Khaja is just a title that is/was used by Kashmiri men...it doesn't indicate descent or social standing really.

Well i’m suprised nobody has mentioned my childhood playground of Muzzafarabad!

Yeah i’ve been to Chaksawari too

I’m not from Azad kashmir my home village is northern Pakistan but i spent my childhood training in Azad Kashmir and my adulthood was spent defending it’s frontier

Looks are fooling, it’s undoubtedly beautfill but like Lahore my bhai it has it’s dark secrets…

Thats why i want you to go there when it’s safe. Right now it’s as bad as Khyber Pakhtoonkwa formerly known as NW frontier.
