Did anyone hear anything abt the riots in ayodha. Police tried to disperse about 50000 hindu extremists. Whats ur views on this everyone?
It would be nice of hindu extremists in india would for once let muslims live in peace. I heard on the BBC that gangs of hindus were going about stabbing muslims for no reason.
i sure would like to get my hands on some of them and really let them know wat tit for tat means. ![]()
i want to be friendly with indians / hindu’s but those who push their luck 2 far and they do it constantly over a period of time i get sick of them.
Have Hindus started any riots in India?
(All kind of information is welcome.)
No, NEVER, Hindus are THE MOST peaceful, more “second cheek” than Christians :k:

From what I know the State govt acted quickly to prevent any organised events at the disputed site, but then again, such positive action will hardly be recognised on this forum.......
following article have balanced view
Competition between the elites of the Hindu and Muslim communities for power sharing bestowed the legacy of communalism or conflict of interests to India in the post-partition period. Religion has merely been an instrument in the hands of the leaders. The communal frenzy in undivided and divided India was either about winning political power or controlling economic resources.
Indian as well as international writers have highlighted the fact that a large number of communal riots in post-partition India have taken place in regions where Hindu-Muslim economic and political competition is intense. For example, some districts in Western UP where 20 per cent of the population is Muslim, and where a new Muslim entrepreneur class is emerging, have experienced more Hindu-Muslim conflicts than other areas in India. There is compelling evidence that the recent Gujarat carnage was a ploy by Indian extremist groups to wreak havoc on the prosperous Muslim community of Gujarat

I repeat my question, any information is welcome, any riots started by Hindus all over history?

Haah! Changez that was funny.
You all are speaking truth.
Bihar government did clamp down in Ayodhya, Thanks to Lalu, had the location been somewhere in Gujarat the sang parivar would have committed another massacre of dirt poor Gujarati muslims.
Communalism in India is, as posted earlier, political and economic. But there is NO justification for murder, of a muslim or a Hindu.
Shameful fact was thecomplicity of a secular states government in brutal - burn alive - murder of its own citizens based on their faith.
Communalism and murder rate varies in India. It is lowest in South and highest in North. Low in East and high in West.
You can also find that illiteracy rate follows the same pattern.
Finally, please don't generalise or stereo type anyone. There are good aand bad in all people. But we must speak out against wrong, even if the finger is pointed at our own selves.
Gujarat violence has its roots in Godhra. Hypocrites forget that Hindus were burnt in a train boggy.
As usual they first claimed a design, then asked for a proof, and now the short memory helps them.
I repeat,
If Hindus have started any riots on their own in India. Prior to Naokhali and after, any information is welcome.
Hypocrites also forget that innocent Muslims were massacred in Gujarat.

No, it’s only Muslims who cause trouble don’t you know. It’s something genetic inside of us, it’s the Muslim gene - that’s all we do, we cause trouble and we go on rampages. You’ve got this whole thing figured out :k:
i sure would like to get my hands on some of them and really let them know wat tit for tat means.
dats wot happened in guj, tit for tat.
Unfortunatly it was tit for TAAAAAAAAAT! which i condemn!
But, jest a hypothetical question, wot would have been your reaction if a train carrying Haj pilgrimes was attacked by hindu fanatics, for wot ever reason, in Pakistan. I know pakistani hindoos dont have guts or intention to do so. But consider this as a hypothetical situation.
I am not justifing violence anyway, just want to know yo reaction.
Very bad reply Nadia, Why such hysteria?
I repeat,

Nadia, ppl like you also forget, that you all get to hear and read stories about such incidents from indian media which are mostly run by Hindoos.
You also conviently skip the part where Hindoo lawyers are fighting cases en gratia for the same moslem victims, and pleadging to get justice for them.
You also very easily forget the part where Supreme court of India, under justice Bharucha and Khade, has given the judgement in favour of the guj-moslem victim, and put the govt of Gujrat in an embarassing position.
Even solicitor general- Soli sorabji, refused to protect Narendra Mody and BJP on this issue.
But well all this is is irrelevant, all we like to harp is the same tune - 'innocent Muslims were massacred in Gujarat' for hundred years to come.

If you are asking about common Hindu people, I don't know. But if you include the Hindutva organisations, then the answer is clearly "yes".
The Gujarat riots were not really hindus' "reaction" to Godhra, as certain political leaders would have us believe. The Godhra incident was used by VHP and co. to initiate ethnic cleansing of Muslims. It becomes obvious, once one reads all news reports with an open mind.
Common people cannot carry out deadly riots like the Gujarat one. Sometimes riots break out over small incidents, like a boy of one community teasing a girl of another community. However, such riots are small and can be easily suppressed by the police, unless some trouble-makers (local goons, maybe at the behest of politicians) jump in and aggravate the situation.
VHP was a chief culprit, but they had mass local support, to be honest.
Gujrat has always been communal. VHP or no VHP.
Maybe it has something to do with history of the region!

Hypocrites also forget and ignore the reason of burning the bogy, they also ignore the facts that a bogy can't be burnt so easily by throwing so much fuel to a height of 5 foot specially when all windows are closed.
In the beginning there were shots in print media, including the Times of India, that it was an accidental fire, which fueled the Muslim claims.
By now all newspapers have agreed that they were wrong. But Muslims on this board and may be in general read to the point till it is in their favor.
So friends, a boggy was burnt by some miscreants who were Muslims incidentally and Gujarat, basically a bad known communal state got the fuels.
Let us be honest, and pls tell me when Hindus have started any riots in India, just because they are Hindus and do not like the minority communities? Any information is welcome dt back to Noakhali and after.
