Re: Ayatollah Kamenei's Message to the Muslim people
Yes, this is the dictator/buffoon who is leading the charge for sectarian violence and civilian deaths in Iraq. While the US is trying to save lives and help the Iraqis live in peace and govern themselves, his government is supplying weapons to shiite militants who are exacting revenge.
How about some greetings for the sunnis he is responsible for murdering in Iraq?
The ummah needs to generate waves of wrath and the Islamic leaders must slap the wrath of this terrorist before worrying about the Jews. This supreme leader is a surpreme ass. Who cares what he says?
650,000 Iraqis will attest against that, on the day of judgement.
You know, the ones US "saved".
Re: Ayatollah Kamenei’s Message to the Muslim people
No, the one who suppressed, displaced, tortured, imprisoned, gassed and murdered hundreds of thosuands of Iraqis when many people were oblivious to the obvious, gullible and naive.
Re: Ayatollah Kamenei's Message to the Muslim people
For a great civilization and advanced society such as Iran, I cannot believe how the religious radicals have taken such total control!
Before Bush, it would have been easy to point fingers at people such Khameni and their atrocities but Bush has made such blunders that the Iranian clergy and President are able plae their idisyncracies in thw world arena
I can't wait to get Bush out of Whitehouse and the next guy to come and start bringin some sanity to our foreign policy so we can start regaining some of the lost credibility!

Khamanei, who isn't even Persian for the ignorants on this forum, has no atrocities. The American government has far more atrocities in Iraq, even before Bush II came to power.
Re: Ayatollah Kamenei's Message to the Muslim people
Iran is where it is today because of the same clerics you sit here and discredit. If it wasn't their voice to fight back and topple the regime of Shah of Iran, Iran would still be a ghetto nation because British/Americans were sucking its resources leaving behind just enough for the people to survive. Bravo to Khomeini for making Iran stand back on its feet again. Every nation has its own identity. You cannot expect every country to be a carbon copy of USA because USA has plenty of its own problems.
Or do you think USA is the stick to measure every nation with? Kinda like either ur like USA or ur just not civilized enough? hmmm...
Say what you will, but don't be biased in the facts atleast.

Re: Ayatollah Kamenei's Message to the Muslim people
It's funny how you like to associates people with other people w/out even knowing them. It only diminishes your credibility and reflects your arrogance towards others.
Re: Ayatollah Kamenei's Message to the Muslim people
Teggy, you believe that ones past actions justify what one does today?
Moonshine, it is widely know that the moderates in Iran were gaining in power and influence before Bush labeled Iran an 'axis of evil' at which point the moderates were accused of being agents of America by the hardliners and their movement crashed.
Don't call people idiots because you can't comprehend what they are saying, it makes you look foolish.
Re: Ayatollah Kamenei's Message to the Muslim people
But Iran is ready to put that ugly past behind, only if U.S. would do the same in return and return the gesture instead of put pre-conditions on a talk that could yield stability and not to mention strengthen ties between the two nations that have much in common even while they're apart.
Iranian leaders have said it time and again that they'd like to see a good relationship with USA but it has to soften its foreign policy. I mean there's give a lil take a lil. That's diplomacy for ya.
I agree Bush's choice of words and stance definately hurt the 'liberal' cause for Iran. Which is why it is important to have a talk and sort out differences instead of keeping a stiff lip about it and not budging. Cuz that's not producing any results, whatsoever. Instead it's working to divide and put more friction between the two.

On the US side Bush has gone so anti that he cannot get out w.o a major embarassment. Only hope is when the new Prez is iin.
On the Iranian side, while Ahmedinejad has effectly shamed US and UN into red faces, unless they do something to disown past stements about annihilation of Israel, they cannot be dealt with in any rational manner.
