meri mehdoodh samajh ke mutabiq is Shair mein “Surat aur Seerat” ki baat kahi gaai hai.
Aankhon pe raaj se muraad Zaheri khubsurti se mutasir karna ya hona hai.
Diloun pe raaj se muraad umda SEERAT se mutasir karna ya hona…
in Conclusion:
it is addressed to General Ladies (bent-e-hawa) that they rule in the eyes (views/mind) of Men (ibn e adam) because of their beautiful outlook, but if they know the reality of the beauty (husn ki haqeeqat) which is good character (Seerat) than they would have ruled the hearts of Men instead.
Ruling on someone’s mind (eyes) is for a time being, but ruling on someone’s heart is considered everlasting.
Morale of the shair is “Real Beauty is the character (SEERAT) than outlook (SURAT)”
