It is nice to hear that FIA, Ch Nisar ordered inquiry in to high tech fraud and senate also took up the case. But in the end every thing will seem to be fine after some muk muka and people will forget this crime and nothing will be going to happen to whosoever involved in this racket. Result Pakistan's and Pakistanis reputation go further down the gutter.

These departments include ‘Research’, ‘Design’, ‘Software’ and ‘Education’
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Axact, the company recently exposed by New York Times for allegedly running fake degree empire, reportedly runs four shady departments, Dunya News has learnt through its sources.
Out of the four, one department is called Research Department that offers projects, assignments, dissertations and thesis writing services to university students. The second department is called IT Software which allegedly steals ideas of smaller groups and packages them as their own to sell it in bigger markets.
The third department is Design and Logo that designs and replicates logos of international ventures.
The fourth department, reportedly the most profitable, is ‘Education Department’ that sells fake online degrees of fake universities formed with names synonymous to major American schools.
The annual income of this department is approximately Rs 300 million. The sources told that the agreements for online degrees include provisions that restrict degree holders from suing Axact.

Why? There are many legit universities in US running these type of programs (mostly BA/MA/MBA) unless you meant “purchasing” cert only without actually taking any courses

Passing online courses are as difficult as you take these courses in regular university or college. Education on line is the future of this world not only in US but all over the world except Pakistan, where this practice is illicit. Pakis only look for short cuts and use all their imagination and intelligence how to rob people to get easy money. It is really a shame that Pakis reputation after 911 has further flushed down the gutter when people read such news. Who in the hell believes in Pakistani education system and degrees in the future???

Well there is already a weak campaign running on social media explaining how “un-Pakstani” it is to to have this kinda allegation by “mulk-dushman” NYtimes and how its investigative report Declan walsh was expelled from the country in 2013. Thats the best we are at unfortunately
