Niaz Stadium, Hyderabad is situated in the heart of once the 2nd and now the 3rd most populous city of Pakistan. Hyderabad has been named after Niaz Ahmed the late sports loving commoner of Hyderabad who was the motivating factor for building this stadium

As i read in indian news paper few years back, he was main inspiration behind that stadium hence stadium is named after him.
In my view that is a great achievement for a resident of south asia(pakistan) in those days.For me it is like a story of hollywood movie.
