Re: Australia vs World XI 3rd ODI
Pollock gone.
Lahore kee galli kee team would have put up a better performance than these so called world X1 stars.
Re: Australia vs World XI 3rd ODI
Now 9 down...what Afridi can do at this late stage...he should hit for fun and humiliate every bowler...lol
Re: Australia vs World XI 3rd ODI

Re: Australia vs World XI 3rd ODI
Australis will assume that shane watson is now their true all rounder
performing against a appalling world xi display. This was the level world xi stoopped.
As much as I am disappointed by the performance, the captaincy was uninspiring to say the least. Lets see if Greame Smith can do any better in tests? Because under pollocl, they were out to have some fun. Is Smith gonna inspire them or not? lets see.
Re: Australia vs World XI 3rd ODI
Slap in the face for the ICC for organizng such a poor series. These type of masala games will never draw interest from the crowd. Players should have been selected based on merit rather then reputation. Players like Kallis, Akhtar, Sehwag (who btw averages 23 against Australia in ODIs) should have never been selected. Hopefully this is the absolute last time a series like this is played.
Not a single player with the exception of Pollock and Sangakkara took the game seriously. These new mixed team concepts are destroying the game of cricket by distracting viewers from the game. Obviously the only incentive for World XI players was $100,000 prize money. I am eagerly awaiting for the Pak vs End series, hopefully Pietersen and Flintoff recover before we give them a good a$$ whoppin'
Re: Australia vs World XI 3rd ODI
I wonder if Brian Lara will be dropped from the Test after this performance in the ODIs.
Re: Australia vs World XI 3rd ODI
Brian Lara is a class act, games like these are of no interest to him. He is saving his best for the West Indies vs Australia series.
Re: Australia vs World XI 3rd ODI
Did I miss anything?
Re: Australia vs World XI 3rd ODI

Re: Australia vs World XI 3rd ODI
some guppies have been ridiculing Watson for a long time at this website…I wonder what do they have to say after Shane Watson"s current good performance on a consistent basis…![]()

Re: Australia vs World XI 3rd ODI
I still don't like the "cry baby" Watson:) .
Re: Australia vs World XI 3rd ODI
well one…
Re: Australia vs World XI 3rd ODI
Watson is an overrated pedestrian allrounder at its best. Medium pace bowler and a an average batsman, I would rate Irfan Pathan or Rana Naved as better allrounder prospect then Watson.
Unfortunately half hearted performances from the World XI has made a star out of this guy.
