Re: Australia vs Jonoobi Ufreeka - 1st Test @ Perth

Really, really good strategy. They maintained their runs consistently each session and worked towards completing each goal.

So SA did not disappoint me.

closing in on a famous victory

With the scores level (413), I want one of these two to go for a big six and break the world record :) If they get bowled in the process, that's still ok...

Australia now have the dubious distinction of conceding the two highest 4th innings (winning) totals in tests

Re: Australia vs Jonoobi Ufreeka - 1st Test @ Perth

just a strike away frn SAF that iss

Re: Australia vs Jonoobi Ufreeka - 1st Test @ Perth

:yahoo:

And to do it on one of the fastest pitches in the world makes it even more special.

Re: Australia vs Jonoobi Ufreeka - 1st Test @ Perth

damn what a match

staying up was well worth it

man i was almost getting emotional :D

Re: Australia vs Jonoobi Ufreeka - 1st Test @ Perth

South Africa won by 6 wickets

chased down 413....
and that too against Australia....
after losing to india, this might be just too bad for the aussies....
perhaps they have finally started the decline....

 For staying up all night with us.

I think what Australia really lacked was a quality spinner who could exploit 5th day conditions. Their bowling is not as penetrative as it used to be

I would think that is why they persisted with Krejza and brought him in the attack when situation required it. He was getting the turn and the bounce. As far as quality spinner, do any teams have any quality spinner except Vettori for New Zealand?

Mendis & Murali (SLA)....aagay aggay dekhiye (series mein) hota hai kya

Re: Australia vs Jonoobi Ufreeka - 1st Test @ Perth

great victory for SA. Aussies crying on other issues as usual ..........

Re: Australia vs Jonoobi Ufreeka - 1st Test @ Perth
