Re: Australia v World XI - Super Test - Sydney
Sehwag hit warne's fulltoss into the midwicket stand like afridi did it kumble
Re: Australia v World XI - Super Test - Sydney
A couple of WXI guys should hit 100s to stay in the game...
WXI 12/1
Re: Australia v World XI - Super Test - Sydney
sehwag gone to loose shot
Re: Australia v World XI - Super Test - Sydney
Yes definitely warne loves Pakistan bunnies more than indians. Just like pakistani fast bowlers have always loved indian bunnies. Infact all pakistani players including batsmen and bowlers have loved the indian bunnies specially since 1986.
Re: Australia v World XI - Super Test - Sydney
^true, very true
Re: Australia v World XI - Super Test - Sydney
U myte wanna chek hiz record against Kiwis and England b4 dubbing him a flat track bully.
Plus his record away 4m home is a LOT better than at home and the fact that most of his centuries turnd out 2 be match-winning ones tell u dat he is NOT a flat trek bully. I m NOT defending his record against ozzies, I m just correcting ur flat trek accusation.
Re: Australia v World XI - Super Test - Sydney
Wat a 4th day on cards. Freddie iz surely aussie nemesis now with the ball at least. Plus my little man Murali, spot on. Their combined spell was a site to behold.
Re: Australia v World XI - Super Test - Sydney
With Dravid, Lara, Inzi and Kallis to come, two of these guys should play a big knock if world XI has a chance... hopefully, some sun tomorrow will negate the pacers. It's still loaded against the World XI.
Re: Australia v World XI - Super Test - Sydney
^ its the spinners who are gonna trap batsmen
Re: Australia v World XI - Super Test - Sydney
Yes and throughout hsi career Kiwi and England had Malcom Marshal playing for them… !!!
Dude. During last 4 years , best fast bowlers were in AUS and SA and his record in both these country is lousy.
I agree with 2nd part(Matchwinner part).
Re: Australia v World XI - Super Test - Sydney
Stop worrying about inzi so much, he is a match winner and you also agreed, although it doesnt matter if you agree or not.
Right now you should be worried about the condition of indian team which is making a mockery of the game.
I agree with teaser that indians are always looking for a chance to bash Pakistani’s. I know that they get these chances very rarely but still I am sick n tired of it. They should thank us that we usually don’t do this to them often because we get plenty of chances every time. Just recently we kicked their a$$ 8 times in 10 matches.
Re: Australia v World XI - Super Test - Sydney
fair_balance, Poms always had decent bowlers in Gough, Caddick and co. Most commentators and critics regard him as da finest player of pace bowlin of his tymes. I dnt echo dere comment but it gives u n idea how good a player is he.
Mr niz_b myte wanna rethink his opinion `bout Big freddie. He once again tormented ozzies.
Re: Australia v World XI - Super Test - Sydney
Da way bowlers hav dominated in dis match, I c no reason how world XI players r gonna pik demselves up tto chase this target.
Re: Australia v World XI - Super Test - Sydney
who are those commentators.. Rameez or Amir Sohail. ![]()
Regarding good bowling attack of ENG in last 15 years.. This is how other players did in England during same period :
Ganguly 74.00
Dravid 87
Sachin 71
Inzimam 44
Lara 48
Re: Australia v World XI - Super Test - Sydney
No I was bashing those who were bashing Gavaskar for team selection on this forum. Based on his performance on AUS wickets he shouldnot have been on team.
Re: Australia v World XI - Super Test - Sydney
^ are you suggesting Gavaskar was right in his selection*s*?
Re: Australia v World XI - Super Test - Sydney
Tony Greg, Ian Chappell, Tony Cozier etc.
Once you find out how many of those centuries were played in crucial encounters by Inzimam, these stats will look a lot balanced.
Re: Australia v World XI - Super Test - Sydney
Let me give you some ODI facts:
Based on Dravid’s ODI performance against Australia, he should’nt have been picked in the ODI side? Did you care care to comment on it? Thats why I said that you dont want to lose a chance of bashing a pakistani.
Inzi’s ODI average against Aussie is much better than dravid’s
As far as his performance on aussies pitches goes, he has an avearage of 45 on the last 10 matches as compared to dravid’s 25 in last 10 ODI’s played on Aussie soil.
Now tell me, who was the most deserving to get the spot which tendi vaca ted in the ODI squad?
As far as Gavaskar is concerned, I respected the man alot. But I think I am losing that respect due to his bias decisions.
What was sehwag doing in the 3rd ODI after his consecutive failures in the first 2 ODI. We all witnessed afridi’s performance in the VB series earlier that year and I guess it was sufficient enough to kick sehwag out in the last ODI. Afridi always has troubled batsmen on australian pitches and I guess he should have played the last ODI as a proper player and not a super sub.
Re: Australia v World XI - Super Test - Sydney
For Tests …YES !!!
In Onedayers he ****ed up by not having Inzi and Vaas in team
