I think Pointing did a good thing to speak up against stupid ICC programs to include minnows in the most important tounaments in cricket. I have been thinking in the same way. As they have WC, ICCT and Natwest for the giants of cricket. They should have atleast 3 full length tournaments for the minnows. They should play among themselves more often in a competetive way in different parts of the world. This will help them gaining more experience and to develop and promote the game more in their countries/regions. ICC should invest in those tournaments.

^ Agreed. They are included only to make up numbers but it reduces teh over all quality of such big tournaments. This tournament will kick off on 16th IMO. So far its only waste of resources mostly.

daymn his job is to play no matter who is oponent. all the new teams come through a system. its not like you pick them just randomly. they have to compete in qualifiers.

ICC Champions trophy should be played as Hockey Champions trophy. Only 5 or 6 teams should be allowed to play on round robin format.

That will be one awsome tournament.
