Australia has been the dominant force in Cricket since 1987

1987 - they win world cup
1992 - bad luck prevents them from going to semi-finals to meet pakistan
1996 - they reach finals
1999 - they win world cup
2003 - they win world cup
2007 - most probably they r gonna win

For 20 years the Australians have dominated Cricket, and it doenst look like its going to end any time soon
