Noor and Zakir had been in a live-in relationship for a long time (samaj rahe ho, samaj rahe ho wink wink). If she had been in the US that night, she would have had the same fate.
Mic drop.

Tbh I believe she wouldn’t have had the same fate in US. He deliberately chose do it in Pak due to easily accessible false witnesses and judicial corruption that is unavailable in the US- at least for those in his economic status. While he may be upper class in Pak, he’s middle class in the US. .

Such cold blooded murders take place due to sudden anger and are not deliberate or planned. There are only two things that can happen in such a situation, Either kill or get killed. Don’t know if she had the chance to attack the man, but she should have retaliated and retaliated good and proper to save her life.
Given the circumstances, she would meet the same fate irrespective of the place, country or time.

For one, her chance of survival in the US would’ve been more not just due to US Bureaucracy being top-notch but also because someone would’ve reported it instead of being bystanders and/or false witnesses. Yes, it wasn’t deliberately planned but jo insan ko darr khowf hona chahiye, he didn’t have it because he knew koi na koi intezam ho hee jayega, it’s Pakistan.

Next, I’m sure she tried to escape but based on strength levels, I’m not sure it’s so easy to escape a guy that’s out of his mind. Hard to decipher the actual course of events that took place.

Anyhow, I guess it was her fate and may Allah bless her afterlife for the pain she suffered.

Actually the monsters guards nabbed her while escaping and locked her again. The employees and many others were complicit. There are many cultural conditionings too. I still remember the Desi surgeon, maybe neuro and he was very top notch, killing his Gori wife, mother of his children, because she wanted to leave him, Sam showed me cut marks, burn marks on her body courtesy of her x. I blame her parents for not making sure he was punished. I watched my boys like a hawk and made sure they understand that they are never to raise their voice on a lady. One day I heard loudness from Harris’s room, I confronted him and he said he was playing video games. Things dont work out, just smile and walk away, there are more out there. Aliyaa, kicked, punched, scratched Safy, subjected him to verbal, psychological abuse and I am proud he didnt fight back and moved on. He claims he got PTSD from it, girl from a so called religious family, wasn’t faithful either.

Crazy murders are crazy murders, be it of a man or of a woman. We should not miss the forest for the trees:

If we truly accept a man and a woman as equals as highly privileged women want, most women will end up in situations like this:

Pardon my French! but how many hundreds of years had you been sleeping under the Taliban Misogyny rock, I just rented my Riverview Condo to a lady making 150 plus, the other estate home I rented out is also a single mom, an executive with an oil firm, my third Condo the husband works for the minister and girl is a physiotherapist. My niece is a specialist doctor, both my stepdaughters are studying medicine. I have sold way more houses to single girls than single guys in my real estate career. The Indian mortgage lady I deal with makes over a million dollars a year. Girls are way ahead of guys in Unis now and as they get empowered they will do better in earnings. Yes!! they are not psychotic about money like Gates and Bezos but very capable of looking after themselves.

The losers still living in the last century trying to impress girls with money are so resoundingly rejected that one could feel sorry for them.

The other unintelligent point about women killing husbands doesn’t even deserve a response.

We used to have some Palestinian friends living in welfare housing and most of the men there seemed to share the same thoughts as you, proud of the provider male syndrome while collecting welfare.

ever since Taliban came to power, the crime rate against women and children in Afghanistan declined by 100%. Whearas in ““civilized world””, hardly a day goes by when a women is not raped or harassed. I think misogynist Taliban should organize tuition classes for America, Pakistan and other “civilized countries” on how to bring crime rate down.

Your wish will come true soon. West has definitely learned their lesson and will stay away while Taliban, who are on video calling Pakistanis Kaffir come to force Sharia laws in Pakistan. Most in Pakistan want that. Although people making a home in west cannot promote that lifestyle here. If that is what works for them then they can certainly make Kabul their home. We believe in human rights.

That is a big victory for the extremist folks they can enforce their lifestyle without any interference from the west, please enjoy and hopefully Taliban have means to feed people and provide medical needs.

Second prong is that many countries in Europe will unfortunately go by the way of racist Poland.

^Grapes are sour mate, NATO tried best to enforce their moral policing in Afghanistan, but failed badly. Now they can act as if they don't care.

Secondly if a modern day feminist or women rights champ is given two choices :

a) high crime rate against women with modern lifestyle
b) zero crime rate with less luxurious lifestyle

We all know where feminists stand on this one lol.

You are absolutely right, they seemed to have learnt their lesson, no power can fight the entire population. 90 plus percent of Afghans want Sharia Rule, 85 percent of Pakistan and it is a two-sided deal which involves you cant expect aid, loans, preferential trade deals, and or liberty to trade with them. Their new strategy is to not change the values of a society to protect from terrorism but to seal their borders from people who have those values. I see hordes and hordes of immigrants from India here, lately, they have been buying insane amounts of investment real estate and have done amazing ly well, so good luck to you. You guys will decide how to run that
country without western loans and aid and without the ability to be welcomed at the border with those values.

They have decided to partner with India, Indians are ecstatic about it. Other Muslim countries are modernizing making relations with Israel.

First Iran was fighting with them, now they were licking their feet to lift the embargo and sell oil. If they were going to bend over anyways, why put the country thru so much misery?

I’m sorry…but what?.. This is such a demented view, it doesn’t deserve a response. Which world do you live in, if you don’t mind me asking? We’re discussing social atrocities that mainly target women and you’re trying to downplay this with “b-b-b-ut women do it too”. Yes, we know. All you’re doing is taking spotlight away from the predominant issue here. Maybe if some individuals weren’t too busy burying one issue by resurrecting another one, there would be more solutions.

Sincerely,
One of the highly privileged women

The fact that you guys associated noor’s case to social atrocities against women, but a similar case where a man was chopped in a similar cold blooded way by a woman is unintelligent to you two, says alot about the other extreme.

Famine, hunger, poverty are part of human life. Many nations faced such problems in history and came out of it. I am sure with the help of ALLAH they will find a way to cope with it and they will emerge stronger.
This opinion that they should have remained under US occupation to avoid hunger or famine is absurd n unintelligent.

Easy to preach hunger and famine for others while gorging yourselves. How many Pakistani Jihadis are seating down the Afghan children on their dinner table? Yeah taking food aid from fascist Modi is part of their Jihad legacy? Still, they will be taking aid from many non-Muslim countries.

Also, I want to touch on something else, you totally skirted the topic of fathers selling their 9-year-olds to old men, what are your views on that?

Firstly, thank you **both **for realizing that PP brought Noor case into the discussion [not DG, myself, or Bobby] and then, going back in to make the edit. Great teamwork! I’m glad that we now have 5 people in this discussion. Welcome!

Now:

Someone chopping her husband down is not the unintelligent part for “us” [bobby1 and myself].
Two primary reasons to label his post as unintelligent [3[SUP]rd[/SUP] is me getting temporary neuralgia but that’s forgivable].

  1. Engaging in an argumentative fallacy: diverting attention from the actual issue, redirecting it to another issue that mildly seems relevant to the primary issue. Indirectly downsizing the issue [man killing newborn/Noor] and turning it into men vs. women debate without a single input on the primary issue.
  2. Stating women would become murderers as a result of equal rights. Absurd, at best.

Now that I gave it a 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] look, unintelligent was a wrong word choice. Ludicrous would do.

I’m no feminist and it certainly doesn’t take one to see through this.

Mufti Tariq Masood is so good, and explains things beautifully. Those who have a problem with Islamic laws should listen to him without their prejudiced lens and they'll benefit a lot as well. But ultimately guidance is from Allah, as the Quran says, "Whomever Allah guides, no one can misguide, and whomever Allah does not guide, no one can guide".
