Thanks you guys sooo much for helping me out. I really had no idea where to begin just 2 days ago… and now my boat is almost complete.

I’m in a team building a boat with 2 of my friends, and then there was some extra cardboard left so I decided to build one on my own (I’ve never built anything on my own before!). I have decided to name my boat the “Pakistani Flagship” (no joke:D) and I’m flying the Pakistani flag on it. =) I’ve also got some other accessories that make it all patriotic. I will post pics soon. The competition is tomorrow.

**ATA, I followed most of the steps. **I sketched the model on a piece of paper and then converted the measurements (I will show you guys that as well). The only thing I did differently is I assembled the boat.. made all the cuts and everything and then after I duct taped it all together, I lined the bottom half of the boat with a cut trashbag.

It’s a bit hard to explain but I will post plenty of pics including some from tomorrow of my boat in the water (hopefully not sinking).

I am soooo excited! You guys are gonne be so proud of me! =]

Thanks, and really proud not because you followed my steps but on using the Pakistani flag… Keep it up, and yes post pictures while making, riding and drowning :-p

heyyyyy guys okay so the race was this morning. Everyone had some pretty neat boat ideas. Mine was sort of small compared to the other ones. But it definately looked the best. :D I underestimated the force of such a great mass of water... my boat sank within the first few feet from the dock (my friend was rowing it.. or trying to). There was no clear winner. Most of the boats eventually sank except for 2 or 3. All the guys whose boats sank started swimming over to the remaining boats and attacking them with bodyslams and whatnot. :D It was so much fun! I managed to save my flag before the boat went down. I took pics of all the boats and will post them soon. =)

I spent a total of like 8 hours building my boat and it sank within 10 seconds lol. I didn’t want to watch it sink =< but my friend trying to row it while it’s half underwater was absolutely hilarious I made a video of the whole thing… I’ll put it up on Youtube sometime soon.

This was perhaps the best last day of highschool anyone could ever have.
