do the same for the journal, i have to ENTER the journal first (allowed to view journal) and THEN u can restrict me to specific posts

nope.. do this ..
1. goto private messages,
2. buddy /ignore lists, add my name in journal buddies

go to journal-tools, make sure u have TWO checks (private+allow journal buddies to see)

i've just tested a journal from another nick, and it works

a) go into your journal,
b) view that post,

u wanna restrict me from seeing b) (pics in future maybe) ? but u wanna keep me so i can only enter a)

SO!, “edit post” and keep “MAKE THIS ENTRY PRIVATE” but take away “ALLOW MY BUDDIES TO VIEW THIS ENTRY”

reply to confirm, after which , i will be able to check the journal,but not that post

so to make things easy now

entrance of journal controlled by JOURNAL BUDDY LIST (located in private messages > buddy/ignore list)
while posting in a journal, u need ONLY 1st check (post private) and NOT 2nd check (allow journal buddies)
if u have 10 journal buddies, but ONLY want 1 to view the post, follow #2, but add that person's nick in there..

let me know if u're confused anywhere..
