European Airlines has closed their operations since late 90s… Qatar and Emirates are two major airlines from middle east… I think… they may close their operations too after this incident…

One of the biggest problems that in-turn causes intelligence failure is that agencies like ISI or IB are extremely politicized just like other institutions as media or judiciary. With focus on other internal stuff like taping political leaders or other dislike elements they are not doing wut they are supposed to do.
I remember my visit to islo in 90s when one of my contacts working in IB told me laughing how his team is working on assignments that includes taping phones of then opposition leaders.

Karachi airport fiasco was the failure of the local police and security apparatus. They dont even have the necessary manpower /equipment to detect bombs. We are victims of our own corruption, and whenever this sad fact blows up in our face, we blame army or ISI. Quite convenient I must say.

These bloody idiots!!! OMG this infuriates me so much. How come they did not know that there were people still missing? They even opened the airport w/o knowing or accounting for everyone. What if there were terrorists still hiding inside?
