Attack on Army Officers and their children- Link to LAL Masjid?

primarily its a good question you've asked. please ignore any accusations against you. some people think that if certain aspects of this situation are delved into we'll all start walking around with talabanic views. this only benefits people who want us to walk into civil wars without asking any questions, without exploring alternative answers. they expect us to back military operations, blindly. actually they dont care for pakistan at all. they care about not being uncomfortable in their office when politics is discussed. they dont for one minute think to stop this civil war with our own tribal people.

this attack was not linked to lal masjid. swat was linked to lal masjid but anything emanating from fata is not linked to lal masjid per say. it is obviously linked to alot of other things including pakistans overall willingness to go againt them(tribal pakhtoons of both af and pak,) to allow drone strikes onto them, and finally by deploying troops to their areas. yes these actions did and do involve deaths (people of all ages.) lal masjid affair may have 'proved' a suspicion of the mehsuds but it was not a start of any new episode for them.

dont get me wrong, these militants are not innocent angels. they could have tolerated pakistans 'majbur' position. they could have sought justice, for deaths, by other means. the ttp is a large organisation, only the ttp-mehsud is at war with pakistan. most factions have stayed neutral because they are willing to accept pakistans majburiya

it has also been confirmed by ulema of all sects that the actions of the militants is unislamic. one account, ive heard, of the nature of this latest attack is particularly gruesome. they are using islams name to wage a murderous, political, war of revenge

although the main player, the US, is not willing to budge on its determination against all those that oppose its presence in the region. pakistan should tactfully minimise the effect within its borders. thats imperative, i believe
