code red’s post appears kinda dubious cos the mahabharata was not written in a dravidian language at all.. it was written in vedic sanskrit first by a guy called ved vyas. please check the authenticity of ur facts before you post anything.. besides it defies logic as to how a people that had nuclear bombs didnt know abt something as fundamental as electricity.. **there are no electric lines in the harappa ruins!! **all that is there is remains of an urban prehistoric civilization for whom the basic building material was mud!!

abey how can u have wireless electricity??? u wud zap ur balls out if u even tried to do something like that..

nevertheless, ancient ppl (all over the world) had this tendency to add hyperboles (exaggeration) in their writings so that it appears glamorous (cf. the junk press of today, that would call bush the hand of God or something).. so if it only were a bunch of arrows, mahabharata wud call it a planetary weapon that can wipe out the universe.. think of this, in islam, the angel jibraeel takes the Prophet (pbuh) into the skies on a heavenly horse.. how is this possible??? most muslims wudnt think of it from a “doubting thomas” angle.. as it is a religious issue.. but thats how it was in the ancient and medieval world.. all great personalities were so extolled that they appear superhuman.. true arjun was probly a great man but i wonder if he had the power to launch a nuclear missile from his bow!!

Suppose you lived a couple of centuries ago. If someone told you at that time you can watch something that is happening thousands of miles away infront of your eyes at the same time as it happens. Could you believe this can happen ??? other than in magic ( like magic ball).

Einstein did the same. He transfered a whole ship with its crew from one place to another. Many people saw that infront of their eyes. But some of the crew member died and other lost their mental ballance in this experiment. After that Einstein destroyed most of his work on advanced physics fearing that humanity is not ready for it.

Wireless Electricity is what my hypothesis is too about ancient civilizations and a lack of any Power Transmission infrastructure..

afterall think about it.. look at the human advances in just a few decades.. we didn't take hundreds of years to do it... how come ancient civilizations lived thousands of years but didn't advance beyond mud houses?

I think thats speculative thinking without any logical reasoning. Any scientific breakthrough unfolds a series of new disoveries, and its unfolds a chain reaction of discoveries to come. Most of the modern technology we have now, the transistor has been the most influential disovery, and it took them thousands of experts, & research instituitions to study, develop, explore and improve the transistor, and right now we are at a point where we are down to a few microns, and will be moving to the vanishing transistor stage, which will revolutinalize electronics once again.

Quite unsure what went wrong at Moen jo Daro and what caused it to ruin, when I went there, I was amazed at the quality of their life that long ago. I am not a scientist so I wont comment on that side of the story, however, going there would change your perception of how advanced primitive people were! I wish the mystery is resloved and we actually come to know what was the real story behind that civilization and its fall.
