Re: At the Nation's Service: M M Alam and the F-86 Sabre

Actually 65 war was won in ground by indivisisuals like M M ALAM, Maj Shafqat Baluch and thousands uther in different sectors air and sea and also in UN but it was a useless war imposed by the than our Genarals and indian leaders and was lost in the end by Ayoub Khan in the Tashqand. There is never a success in any field by generals when they become ruler.

Why you are?

err Seema, but M M Alam was never married…who is this guppie you mention as his son?

Re: At the Nation's Service: M M Alam and the F-86 Sabre

^ I always thought he lived with his wife in gulshan?

Re: At the Nation's Service: M M Alam and the F-86 Sabre

Never married, no children and no living in Gulshan, at least not for ages.
One of his brothers or sister might be there though.

:D

r u sure haris? :bummer: May b I am mistaken n he’s like a nephew or cousin of M.M Alam, i get acquainted to him some where in 2000-2002 so I might b wrong. He’s frm lahore n his name is majid alam n his nick i assume was sumthing like symboloffriendship. I met him on some other forum tho then i saw his nick/name over here in GS in sum pakistan related forum n i confirmed frm him that it was he over here on GS. As i can recall he was also working on sum website related to M.M Alam. hmmmm lemme confirm it frm him na i think he’s also connected to through linkedin

its highly unlikely that he shot 5 down in 30 seconds , even erich hartmann was not such a marksman and he had 352 kills to his credit and his opponents were wood made soviet monoplanes flying at much slower speeds.
Most likely this is a exaggerated claim by PAF after the war, PAF made similar boasts in border skirmishes with soviets where they even lost a F-16.
