I support Bashar against the current opposition. Just like I would support Zardari against TTP or Saudi Arab’s royals against insurgents that attacked Kaaba.
If opposition against Bashar was like the one in Bahrain where peaceful protests continue to this day, or the like of Egypt then no doubt my support will be with opposition against dictator.
But if its Libyan style coup organised from Western capitals then it is a bad idea to hand over your country to extremists. Libya is now in ruins and public getting public lashing from extremists is becoming a norm.
